Gerrie Hoek is a new to me dahlia in 2024, this dahlia however, is not new to the market and has been around since 1942. I purchased a tuber last year to add to my waterlily dahlia collection and was intrigued by this one, as I look to breed new varieties I though what better way than to start with some of the originals? It’s just a bonus that it is my favorite color!

This softer bright pink water Lily dahlia would be a wonderful addition to your collection. Blooms do close slightly in the evening. Plants do grow taller, 4-5’ and will definitely benefit from staking. This dahlia works well in arrangements, tying blush colors together.
